亜目の系統関係はHunt et al. (2007)に似ているがちょっと違う。(Archostemata, (Myxophaga, (Adephaga, Polyphaga)))
上科の系統になると破たんしていて憂鬱になる。細かいところを見ると面白いと思えるところもなくはない。
