チビタマムシの属の性について整理したうえで、最近のカタログでも語尾変化が曖昧だったので整理したもの。
Trachys、Neotrachys、Paratrachysは男性名詞。Habrolomaは中性名詞とのこと。
日本産種については追っていないが変化なし？

ヒメムクゲサルハムシParascela tamaderai sp. nov.を石垣島と西表島から記載。日本から記録があるParascela cribrata (Schaufuss, 1871)の記録を削除。
5時起床。一路東へ。別子から西赤石を経由して、串ヶ峰のPH。下のほうは少し風はあるものの薄曇り。でも尾根に出ると暴風で、横殴りの霧雨。見晴らしも全くない。何度も帽子を飛ばされそうになる。足元も濡れていて落ち葉や岩で滑りそうになる。
相変わらず鹿の影響を強く受けた場所で、数年前来た時よりも明らかに植生の減退が見られる。倒木も多い。でも昨日行った楢原のほうが酷い気がする。元々の植生に起因するものなのだろうか。植生が違うと単純に比較できないのもシカ害の難しいところだな、など考えながら歩く。
この地域では先週にキノコ狩りの老人が行方不明になり3日後に無事見つかったというニュースがあった。今日は、老人が無事保護されたというあたりの山林内でキノコ狩りの人にばったりあって驚いた。薄着で装備もしっかりしていなかったのだが、若くてガタイが良い人だったので大丈夫だろうと、挨拶だけした。午前中ならまだしも、午後の少し日も傾き始めた時間に山に入るのは良くないよなと思う。
6時間くらいを予定していたが大幅にオーバー。
