Lee (2017)により独立種とされたTibicen shikokuanus Kato, 1959は、Tibicen ishiharai Kato, 1959やTibicen tsukushiensis Kato, 1959と共にキュウシュウエゾゼミAuritibicen kyushyuensis (Kato, 1926)の新参シノニムだろうとしている。納得。
