Nipponodrasterius Kishii, 1966をGamepenthes Fleutiaux, 1928の新参シノニムとしている。また、ミヤマヒラタチビコメツキNipponodrasterius alpicola Kishii, 1966をキマダラコメツキMelanoxanthus pictipennis Lewis, 1894の新参シノニムとしている。日本産Gamepenthes属5種の検索表も示している。
