西予へ。

ミュージアムの見学後は周辺の自然観察や昆虫採集。いろいろ見れて楽しかった。

chaetotaxyも含め丁寧に記載している。1齢幼虫が大きすぎる気がするけど大きいのだろうか？

訃報

田中和夫さんが3月5日に亡くなったとのこと。ご冥福をお祈りいたします。

ゴミムシやカ、家屋害虫などに業績があり、とても緻密な仕事をされているイメージがあった。お会いしたことはなかったが、学生の頃からある縁があり、お会いしてお話ししたいと思っていた。近年は病気療養されていると風の噂で聞いていた。
