ドロムシ上科の新科Mastigocoleidae Tihelka, Jäch, Kundrata & Cai fam. nov.を記載。中国（未記載種）、ブラジル (Mastigocoleus rhinoceros Tihelka & Cai gen. et sp. nov.)、ミャンマー琥珀 (Mastigocoleus resinicola Tihelka & Cai gen. et sp. nov.、Cretaceocoleus saetosus Tihelka, Kundrata & Cai gen. et sp. nov.)が基になり2新属3新種を記載。触角が先端に向かい細くなる変わった感じの虫。Lutrochidae＋Dryopidaeの姉妹群と想定している。”whip-antennate beetles”という英名を付けているので和名はムチヒゲムシあたりだろうか。
この雑誌はページの付け方に悩む。6巻3号の3本目の論文で18頁あるのだけど、どう引用すべきなんだろう。あと、PDFが重すぎてHPからダウンロードできない。著者からPDFを貰った。
