ミャンマー琥珀化石の新属新種Cretophengodes azari gen. et sp. nov. を基に新科Cretophengodidaeを提唱。Phengodidaeにそっくりだが、腹部基部3節に発光器官を有するとのこと。写真を見ても発光器官なのか空気が入っただけなのかよく判らない。
