中国から苔食ハムシの1新種Cangshanaltica fuanensis sp. nov.を、幼虫形態を含め丁寧に記載している。
加えて、苔から虫を抽出する方法として「fan-driven Berlese funnel」というのを提案している。以前からあったようにも思うが、要は光源の上にファンを付けて効率化を図っているというもの。確かに良いかも。工夫すれば手軽に作れそう。
この雑誌はどうしてもpredatorというイメージを持ってしまうが、けっこう丁寧で面白そうな良い論文が掲載される。
